The RS232 cable connects any RS232 / V.24 interface, such as standard PC COM interfaces, with the TTY / 20 mA control system interfaces. The 9 pin D-SUB socket on the RS232 side is connected directly to the 9 pin COM interface of the PC. On the unit-specific AG side there is a D-SUB connector that is connected directly to the 15 pin socket of the control module.
Thanks to the integrated electronics in the 15 pin D-SUB connector housing, no additional housing and no external power supply are required.
