You can identify the correct ink roller by checking your device’s model number or the number on the old roller. In our shop, you can search specifically by brand and model, such as ink roller for Canon, Epson, or Brother.
An ink roller is made of foam soaked with ink, while a ribbon uses a textile band. Ink rollers are mostly used in calculators or cash registers, whereas ribbons are more common in small printers.
Depending on usage, an ink roller lasts several months to up to a year. With regular printing, it should be replaced roughly every six months.
If printouts appear faint, uneven, or partially blank, the ink roller is worn out. Discolored or dried-out rollers must also be replaced.
Turn off the device, open the housing, and carefully remove the old roller. Insert the new ink roller until it clicks into place, then close the device. You can resume printing immediately afterward.
