Lithium-ion polymer batteries (often abbreviated to LiPo, Li-poly, lithium-poly and LIP) belong to the Li-ion family. They have a low self-discharge rate, are long-lasting and have a high capacity. Compared to other Li-ion batteries, the energy capacity of lithium polymer batteries is slightly lower, but they are more resistant to overcharging. Die Akkus passen in den iPod Video 30 GB ohne Probleme, sind sogar etwas dünner als die Originalen. Haben aber auch 450 mAh. Das Flachbandkabel lässt sich problemlos biegen und passt perfekt in den Anschluss auf der Platine. Das mitgelieferte Werkzeug eignet sich nur zum einmaligen Öffnen des iPods, da die Schneide sehr schnell bricht bzw. sich verbiegt. Im Normalfall reicht das ja auch aus, wenn man geübt ist und weiß, wie der iPod zu öffnen ist (von unten anfangen!). Einzig das Datum "03/15" auf dem Akku ist nicht ganz nachvollziehbar. Ist es das Produktionsdatum oder das Verfallsdatum des Akkus? Ist es überhaupt ein Datum? Die Akkus wurden jedenfalls eingebaut und halten jetzt schon mal länger durch als die Originalen von 2009. Mal sehen wie lange. Ich hätte mir noch zwei Klebepads dazu gewünscht, damit der Akku wieder fest an der Rückschale angebracht werden kann. So ist er quasi nur gesteckt bzw. klebt etwas an den alten Streifen. Wenn die Akkus halten, was sie sollen, kann ich es nur weiterempfehlen.
