Save your money and buy genuine
I purchased this along with the 42029 replacement filter for my DC1800 vacuum.
On first use it was clear they do not compare to the genuine Dustcontrol items in terms of quality.
When in use you can literally see fine dust coming from the vacuums exhaust.
Absolutely no use and do not compare to the dustcontrol genuine items.
Used for approximately 2 hours before I removed and put the old genuine items back in that must have had close to 200 hours use.
Avoid these and save your money, buy the genuine dustcontrol items.
