Is the battery also compatible if it has a different capacity?
Yes! If the other technical specifications such as voltage and connections are correct, the battery is compatible. The capacity of a battery is measured in milliampere hours (mAh). If the replacement battery has a higher capacity than the original battery, it will give you a longer runtime. If the capacity is only slightly higher or lower than the original battery, this will not result in any significant changes to the runtime. You can use batteries with a different capacity without any problems.

Nickel metal hydride batteries are similar to nickel-cadmium cells but have a higher energy density at the same voltage (approx. twice as high).
