This mica disc reliably protects the magnetron of your microwave and prolongs its service-life. Its special composition allows it to withstand extremely high temperatures and prevents contamination and damage to the magnetron.
If you use your microwave regularly, deposits or dirt can build up on the mica plate. This can lead to staining or even tearing which is a clear indication that you should replace the mica plate to ensure your microwave performs at its best. Instead of replacing the entire microwave, you can simply exchange the mica plate which will save you shopping time and money and allow you to go on preparing delicious meals.
The glimmer cover can be cut to fit most standard microwave models - just remove the damaged plate and insert our mica plate.
