Lithium-ion polymer batteries (often abbreviated to LiPo, Li-poly, lithium-poly and LIP) belong to the Li-ion family. They have a low self-discharge rate, are long-lasting and have a high capacity. Compared to other Li-ion batteries, the energy capacity of lithium polymer batteries is slightly lower, but they are more resistant to overcharging. The polymer-based electrolytes enable these lightweight batteries to be manufactured in a wide range of designs and shapes, making them very versatile. Ich konnte den Akku bis jetzt nur grob auf Funktion testen, da das Wetter und die gegenwärtige Situation Drohnenflüge eher schwierig machen. Generell fällt auf, dass die Verarbeitung des Plastikkörpers recht ungenau und scharfkantig ist. Der Akku passt deshalb nur mit etwas Druck in die dafür vorgesehene Halterung an der Drone. Er wirkt daher schon etwas wie ein billiges Imitat. Das sagt natürlich überhaupt nichts über die tatsächliche Leistung und insbesondere die Kapazität aus.
