Lithium-ion polymer batteries (often abbreviated to LiPo, Li-poly, lithium-poly and LIP) belong to the Li-ion family. They have a low self-discharge rate, are long-lasting and have a high capacity. Compared to other Li-ion batteries, the energy capacity of lithium polymer batteries is slightly lower, but they are more resistant to overcharging. This was the best replacement option for my Pure radio

Quality of the product is better than the original equipment it replaced, as it is a lithium polymer rather than the original nickel metal hydride battery pack technology. The connecting cable was a little longer than the original battery pack, which meant it needed a little bit of thought to ensure that it fitted into the battery compartment correctly without causing stress to the battery compartment cover! However, that is not a criticism. It just means the installation requires care!
