Una fotocamera deve essere alimentata in modo affidabile durante il collegamento a rete. Se si ha perso l'alimentatore di rete della fotocamera, se quello che si possiede risulta difettoso o se si ha semplicemente bisogno di un secondo caricatore sempre a portata di mano, ad esempio per viaggiare, con questo alimentatore sostitutivo si fa la scelta giusta.
