Battery Ordinance

Batteries can be returned to the point of purchase after use. End users are legally required to return old batteries. The symbol of a waste-bin with a cross through it (§17 Paragraph 1 Battery Law) means that batteries must not be disposed of with household waste. The chemical symbols of the metals (§17 Para. 3 Battery Law) have the following meanings: „Hg“ means Mercury (Hydrargyrum bichloratum), „Cd“ means Cadmium and „Pb“ means Lead (Plumbum). You can return batteries to us as indicated on the Legal Notice page („Imprint“ - provider identification).
