The adapter appears well made, was easy to fit and enables continued use of a Makita drill that still has useful life but NiCad batteries have failed. A cost effective option to full replacement, especially when I have a different Makita Li-Ion battery powered tool that I can use the batteries and charger; extra batteries can be purchased at reasonable cost on Ebay.
